Information
The EBC 1400 is SCHNEIDER’s compact coating solution for mass manufacturing and large Rx-labs. State-of-the-art process technology combined with proven components guarantee shortest process times and make the EBC 1400 a powerful and reliable batch coating system.
The EBC 1400 is equipped with magnetic levitated turbomolecular pumps which enable significant energy savings. Its high performance EBG system and crucible configuration provide full evaporation material flexibility – whether on a segmented dome or a flip-over system. Layer properties are optimized with Ion Assisted Deposition using Argon or Oxygen to guarantee best process qualities for organic or glass lenses. With the optimized design of the vacuum chamber and protection shields, cleaning cycles are shortened and minimized, resulting in less downtime during production.
