The SHC nano is a four station spin hard coating system for ophthalmic lenses.

The machine is suitable for 100 % solid hard coatings and can be configured for solvent based systems as well. The 4 stations of the SHC nano offer a highly flexible machine configuration according to individual customer needs.

Full access to coating parameters allows process adjustments up to individual lens optimization. Long lasting and low maintenance requiring components guarantee a low cost of ownership and high stability of the coatings. A continuous temperature control and stabilization of the varnish ensure repeatable high quality results for spin coating applications.

As part of the SCHNEIDER machine portfolio, the SHC nano can be connected to the LMS in order to optimize the process for different lens geometries. The connection to the SOM Control Center guarantees a continuous process monitoring.
