Introducing the HSC modulo
The HSC Modulo generator is the perfect choice to process freeform and Rx lenses in a fully automated production environment.

Built on the base of the innovative concepts implemented in hundreds of HSC generators running in leading labs worldwide, the HSC Modulo contains all that experience in the compact Modulo design. The high-volume rough generating in conjunction with the quality-defining RS-tec motor results in perfect results – lens by lens.

The intelligent interface and conveyor concept of the HSC Modulo enables plug-and-play integration into the Modulo Line environment at any stage of lab expansion – from new production startup to any number of additions to a growing digital-surfacing lab.

Solid design, great performance
Small enough to fit in virtually any spot in your lab, the HSC Modulo shows off big by generating your complete range of lens prescriptions. Inside the machine you find the power you expect from SCHNEIDER. The fast rough cutting process is contained within the milling chamber leading to controlled swarf channeling and clean machines. The robust RS-tec motor enables high single-pass stock removals of up to 8 mm. Specialties such as high wrap curves, which cannot be cut by a milling tool are processed by the RS-tec motor with ease. The design of the RS-tec motor supports single-tool and twin-tool operation.

A genuine HSC
The HSC Modulo includes all the proven concepts of the family of HSC generators. The machine is designed on the industry-proven kinematics HSC+G for combining fast rough cutting and cribbing with the most precise fine turning process in a compact space. The surfacing motors utilize high-performance controllers enabling maximum communication speed and highest resolution of data. The result is the most precise algorithmic translation of information to process any and all unique freeform and Rx lens designs.

Performance enhancements included
The HSC Modulo comes with several game changing performance enhancements which will be absolute must haves for any generator configuration from now on.

The AMC Advanced Motor Control technology increases productivity through motor self-tuning routines and customer adapted process technology.

With the CVS Calibration and Verification System, the automatic tool calibration and the integrated lens analysis have been implemented right into the machine.

And the Power Safety System, PSS, reacts within micro - seconds in the case of unexpected external power failures eliminates the risk of machine damage.

The Modulo advantage
The HSC modulo comes with an on-board global interface philosophy that allows for connection to the Modulo system. Once connected to the Modulo system, the machine works as an integral part of this one-of-a-kind system solution and is subject to the centralized monitoring Control Center. The lab manager is fully informed about the current status of the machine. Therefore critical situations and downtime can be avoided before they arise. Higher uptimes and increased yields are guaranteed.
