Schneider Optical Machines is pleased to announce Dr. Christoph Weber as new Vice President Sales, Ophthalmics. In this role, he is responsible for Schneider’s lens processing solutions to customers in Europe, Asia, Australia and South America.

Christoph has earned a PhD in physics from the University of Kaiserslautern and has been working in the optics industry since then.

Prior to joining Schneider, Christoph was head of the European sales region of Satisloh after leading the ophthalmics division of Loh Optical Machines.

 “Christoph Weber will be a key part of our strong growth worldwide.  He is another important addition to our strong commitment to the ophthalmic industry” said  president Gunter Schneider.

At Schneider, Christoph follows Burkhard Pfeiffer. Burkhard’s new focus is going to be After Sales and Customer Training Ophthalmics.
