Schneider announces that Mr. Joerg Haas has joined the company as Sales Manager, Ophthalmics, for Asia including Japan and India, and for the Commonwealth of Independent States CIS.

He had held responsible sales positions for Asia for many years and has built a successful track record for this region.

Joerg is also going to lead the Schneider subsidiary in Singapore and to coordinate the sales activities of Schneider's agencies in Japan and China.

Mr. Clemens Heimlich, in charge for the Asian market before, is going to focus his activities on the precision-optical business of Schneider in Asia.
