The CB fusion blocking station defines a new class of high-performance blocking in the ophthalmic industry. For the first time, technical, environmental and economical considerations have been joined in a single solution which Rx and freeform labs will benefit from immediately.
Key to the new quality of blocking is the Schneider blocking material, Connex, which replaces conventional alloy. Connex is an environmentally friendly high-performance plastic which is economical, reusable and guarantees optimal mechanical stability of the blocked lenses. The CB fusion uses the new material by fully supporting the lens area. Knife-edged lenses are no longer an issue.
High-resolution optical detection and after-clamping control guarantee precise blocking. The flow of the blocking material is computer-controlled which reduces waste and improves accuracy.
The result is precise and strong block-lens-joints ready for premium surfacing. The nontoxic blocking material does not pollute your swarf and can be recycled many times.
- High precision blocking
- Full block support for maximal strength
- Recyclable blocking material for lower costs
- No toxic waste – environmentally save
- Easy process integration in existing surfacing lines
- Interface to all existing lab server systems
