Frankfurt/Germany. By winning its third Award within a quarter, Schneider’s freeform generator, HSC Master, has ultimately established itself at the cutting edge of today’s most innovative equipment.

On January 20, president Gunter Schneider received the finalist award during a festive ceremony in the Alte Oper in Frankfurt. For the 27th German Business Innovation Award, 238 products were proposed. Only 15 products were awarded in three categories.
The freeform pioneer Schneider convinced the jury with their unique motor and control concepts for highest throughput and quality. The HSC Master sets the benchmark for surfacing of individual progressive lenses. Only a few months after its introduction into the market, the HSC master is already generating thousands of high-end lenses in Europe, Asia and America.
